    This requirement is open only to those TBIPS Supply Arrangement Holders who qualified under Tier 1 for services in Quebec City Region for the following category:
    - System Administrator (I.9) with experience level 1

    Description of Work:
    5.1 Technical support 
    The contractor must carry our various technical support tasks according to the TSR section’s needs and priorities. The technical authority will document the work to be done and send it to the contractor via a task allocation system (Microsoft Outlook). Each task will initially include a description of the work, the deadline and the priority level. The contractor will need to carry out the following work:
    5.1.1 Install, uninstall, monitor, update and maintain operating systems.
    5.1.2 Install, uninstall, monitor, update and maintain software and hardware.
    5.1.3 Configure access and permissions on a server.
    5.1.4 Configure software, material or network and resolve associated problems
    5.1.5 Install and replace cartridges and maintain and/or troubleshoot various devices, such as printers, photocopiers or scanners.
    5.1.6 Troubleshoot and provide user assistance. This includes, but is not limited to the following work:
    - restoring workstations
    - backing up data
    - recovering data
    - changing passwords
    - updating the Device Manager
    - replacing defective internal computer components
    5.1.7 Install, configure, test and/or troubleshoot virtual machines. 
    5.1.8 Implement problem-solving strategies to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
    5.1.9 Configure services.
    5.1.10 Conduct anti-virus scans on media or workstations.
    5.1.11 Install and attach cables and peripherals in accordance with DND standards for classified workstations, while maintaining the stations’ ergonomics.
    5.1.12 Prepare media for data transfer to a disconnected network.
    5.1.13 Recommend technology solutions (hardware and software) to problems and improve practices, while decreasing costs and respecting departmental standards.
    5.1.14 Write user’s guides and/or amend/update existing documentation.
