    Summary:
    
    A few months ago, the Department of Infrastructure, Communities
    and Intergovernmental Affairs Canada (INFC) announced its
    intention to build a new bridge over the St Lawrence River to
    replace the Champlain Bridge. In addition to the construction of
    the bridge, construction will be carried out to modify the
    approaches and some traffic lanes on the South Shore of
    Montreal, the Island of Montreal and Nuns' Island.
    
    This project includes land surveying required to acquire parcels
    of land needed for the construction work. The work involves
    preparing parcel plans, master plans, technical descriptions and
    cadastral operations on public property.
    
    The professional standards of practice of the Ordre des
    arpenteurs-géomètres du Québec must be complied with and the
    signatory must be a member in good standing of the OAGQ.
    
    
    Bidder's conference:
    
    A bidders'conference will be held at La Place Bonaventure,
    portail Sud-Est, 800 rue de La Gauchetière Ouest, Bureau 7300,
    Montréal (Québec), on July 22nd 2014 at 13:30 pm. 
    
    Bidders are requested to confirm attendance before the
    conference. Bidders should provide, in writing, to
    renee.gadreau@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca, the names of the person(s) who
    will be attending at least two (2) working days before the
    scheduled conference.
    
    Period of the Contract:
    
    The period of the Contract is from date of Contract to April
    10th, 2015 inclusive.
    
    Period of Services
    
    The work must be performed within a period of thirty (30) weeks
    after the contract is awarded.
