In-Theatre Sense and Respond Logistics for adaptive dispersed
operations - decision support

This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid
solicitation number W7701-125206 /A dated 25 July 2012 with a
closing of 10 September 2012 at 02:00 pm.


Objective

The objective of this work is to develop new advanced decision
support tech-nology concepts to support in-theatre logistics
planning and sustain missions in the context of  adaptive
dispersed operations.

The main intent is to focus on the development and integration
of resource control/monitoring and management, analysis and
forecasting functionality concept in decision support capability
components for In-theatre logistics planning and sustain mission
in uncertain, time-constrained and hostile envi-ronment. The
anticipated capability will provide flexible informed decision
enhancement, logistics cost/footprint and sense-response cycle
reduction, service level improvement and human overload
reduction.

TASK 1: Asset readiness characterization. 
TASK 2: Decision support asset control/monitoring and management
TASK 3: Decision support analysis capability development
TASK 4: Decision support forecasting.
TASK 5: Decision support distributed resource management
TASK 6: Decision support prototype

Work location

The Contractor must conduct the work at his own premises.

Client department

The services will be rendered to Defence Research and
Development Canada (DRDC-Valcartier).

Period of the contract

The period of the contract is from the date of the contract to
March 31, 2016 inclusive.

Estimated funding available

The maximum funding available for the contract resulting from
the bid solicitation is $450,000.00 CAD (Goods and Services Tax
or the Harmonized Sales Tax extra, as appropriate). Bids valued
in excess of this amount will be considered non-responsive. 
This disclosure does not commit Canada to pay the maximum
funding available.

Intellectual property rights 

Any intellectual property rights arising from the performance of
the Work under the resulting contract will belong to Canada.

Other information 

- The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).  
- The requirement is limited to Canadian services.

The compliant proposal with the lowest evaluated price per point
will be recommanded for a contract award.
