    Nature of Requirements: 
    
    The purpose of this Standing Offer is to obtain the services of general marine contractors to repair and maintain vessels of the Canadian Coast Guard (CCG) in operation in the Central & Arctic region during the operational period or refit periods. This Standing Offer will be used for emergency troubleshooting and repair when the vessels are in operational status and for unknown work arising during refit periods.
    
    Most requests will be for performing work for the repair, maintenance, installation or improvement of the hull and superstructures, propulsion and manoeuvring systems, auxiliary systems, domestic systems and deck equipment. 
    
    Offerors may submit an offer for one or more service area(s). 
    
    Seven Standing Offers may result from this Request for Standing Offer.
    
    The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from the issuance of the Standing Offer to March 31st 2020.
    
    If the Standing Offer is authorized for use beyond the initial period, the Offeror offers to extend its offer for two additional periods, from April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021 and from April 1, 2021 to up to 3 years after issuance, under the same conditions and at the rates or prices specified in the Standing Offer, or at the rates or prices calculated in accordance with the formula specified in the Standing Offer.
    
    The total cost to Canada resulting from call ups against the Standing Offers must not exceed the sum of the amounts below (Applicable Taxes excluded) unless otherwise authorized in writing by the Standing Offer Authority:

    Sorel $220 000,00/year 
    Québec $680 000,00/year
    Mont-Joli $100 000,00/year 
    Sarnia $200 000,00/year
    Prescott $200 000,00/year 
    Burlington $300 000,00/year
    Parry Sound $300 000,00/year
    
    As per the Integrity Provisions under section 01 of Standard Instructions 2006, offerors must provide a list of all owners and/or Directors and other associated information as required. 
    
    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 5 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter Ten Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the Area of Origin (Eastern Canada) in accordance with the Shipbuilding, Repair Refit and Modernization Policy
