NOTICE:

The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.


DESCRIPTION:

Perform the work on Canadian Coast Guard Ships (CCGS) Leim, (CCGC) Ile St-Ours, (CCGS) Garde-Cote 03 and (CCGS) FCG Smith in accordance with Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard technical specifications entitled ; ''15IN206 Contrat Navires Saisonniers Sorel 2015-16 version 4-en'’, and all related drawings and other technical documents.


Commencement of Work: January 27th, 2016 or as per ship's availibility.

End of Work:         April 8th, or ten (10) weeks after ship's availability. (At the earlier date.)


BIDDERS' CONFERENCE (not mandatory)

A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority was convened on board vessel CCGS FCG Smith at 10:00 am, December 17th, 2015. The vessel will be moored at Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard Wharf, at 15, du Prince Street, Sorel-Tracy (QC)J3P 4J4.


VESSELS' VIEWING (not mandatory)

A vessels' visit was held immediately after the bidders’ conference.
