    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    Description:
    
    Provide as needed, a certification service and supply spare parts for life rafts trademark ZODIAC and DUNLOP-BEAUFORT, as well as Zodiac Hurricane Righting Bag Systems for Canadian Coast Guard vessels, as per described in Technical Statement of Requirement.
    
    (i) The Contractor must have proof of valid certification from the manufacturer for the period of the Standing Offer.
    
    (ii) The life rafts Makes are the following:
     - Dunlop-Beaufort (DBC)
     - Zodiac
    
    (iii) The Righting Bag System Makes and Models are the following :
     - Zodiac Hurricane 733
     - Zodiac Hurricane 753
     - Zodiac Hurricane 530
     - Zodiac Hurricane 540
     - Zodiac Hurricane 630
    
    (iv) The Home Ports covered by this invitation to tender are :
     - Quebec, QC
     - Sorel, QC
     - Mont-Joli, QC
    
    (v) The Standing Offer will be valid for a period of one (1) year from 2017-9-03 to 2018-09-02, including a provision for an optional two (2) year period of services of one (1) year from 2018-09-03 to 2019-09-02 and from 2019-09-03 to 2020-09-02.
    
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).
    
    The requirement is subject to a preference for Canadian goods and/or services.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE:

    VESSELS’ VIEWING:
    No site visit of the vessels is scheduled.
