    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessel in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    DESCRIPTION:
    To carry out the ship repair work, including dry docking, regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ships (C.C.G.S.) Pierre Radisson, during the summer season, in accordance with the Technical Specifications entitled ; ‘’Dry Dock VLE CCGS Pierre Radisson‘’ and all related drawings and other technical documents.
    
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    
    A bidders' Conference chaired by the Contracting Authority will be convened at 101 Champlain Boulevard, Quebec, QC G1K 7Y7, room DE-2-4R-226 CONF MPO, at 1:00 pm, September 27th, 2018.
    
    An attendance confirmation (by e-mail) is required before 11:00 am, September 25th, 2018, otherwise the bidders’ conference will be cancelled.
    
    VESSEL’S VIEWING (OPTIONAL):
    
    A site visit on a vessel of the same class (CCGS Amundsen) will be held immediately after the bidders’ conference on 27th September 2018 for possible contractors.  The vessel will be docked in the Port of Quebec, section 97, QC.  Bidders must make sure to wear the required safety equipment, including; helmet, boots and safety glasses.
    
    Bidders are to communicate with the Contracting Authority prior to the site visit to confirm attendance.  Bidders that do not attend are not precluded from submitting a bid.  Bidders are to provide the Contracting Authority with the names of their representatives no later than two (2) days prior to the visit. The Contracting Authority will have an attendance form which is to be signed by the Bidder's representative(s) in attendance.
