    NOTICE:
    The sourcing strategy relating to this procurement will be limited to suppliers in the area of origin (Eastern Canada) of the vessels in accordance with the Shipbuilding and Repair Procurement Policy.
    
    DESCRIPTION:
    Perform the work on Canadian Coast Guard Ship CCGS Isle St-Ours in accordance with Fisheries and Oceans Canada - Coast Guard technical specifications entitled "CCGS Isle St-Ours - Emergency Dry Docking 2018", and all related drawings and other technical documents at Annex A of the call for tender.  The objective is to identify and repair the water intrusion in the hub of the variable pitch propellers.  The Statement of requirement requires also to verify leakage of various hull valves, and other minor elements under the water level. 
    BIDDERS’ CONFERENCE (OPTIONAL):
    A bidders’ conference (optional) will be held at 2:00PM at the CCG base in Quebec, August27th, 2018. An attendance confirmation is required before 10:00 am, 24th August 2018, otherwise the bidders’ conference will be cancelled.
    VESSEL’S VIEWING:
    A visit of the vessel will not be held since the majority of work to be performed is under the water level.

    The requirement is exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), Annex 4 and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), Chapter 10 Annex 1001.2b Paragraph 1, however, it is subject to the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
