This document aims to identify the general and specific requirements to satisfactorily and fully meet the need to implement a lease contract for 300 VHF communications devices in an environment of Arctic field operations and engagements within DND.
The goal of this solution is to mitigate the loss and non-replacement in the medium term of the portable VHF radios within the two PRes Bdes. The solution under consideration is to rent this equipment until the DLR draws up a plan for the replacement of this capability, which is critical to the operations of our PRes Bdes.
