IMPORTANT NOTICE TO BIDDERS

Since June 1st 2013, Canada makes available Notices of Proposed Procurement (NPP), bid solicitations and related documents for download through the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) at Buyandsell.gc.ca/tenders. 

Canada is not responsible and will not assume any liabilities whatsoever for the information found on websites of third parties. 

In the event an NPP, bid solicitation or related documentation would be amended, Canada will not be sending notifications. Canada will post all amendments using GETS. It is the sole responsibility of the Bidder to regularly consult GETS for the most up-to-date information.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION
The project involves the repair of the roof of the Gilles Marceau Building of the Canada Revenue Agency in Jonquière, QC. The work involves mainly stripping the coating of the existing roof, repair of parts of the roof structure and masonry and resurface the roof. In addition, installation work, replacement and removal of existing electromechanical equipment is required.

SITE VISIT
There will be an optional site visit on March 8, 2016 at 10:00 am. Interested bidders are to meet at 2251 René-Lévesque Blvd, Saguenay, QC. Bidders wishing to visit are requested to confirm their attendance to the Contracting Authority mentioned above in clause IP03 at least 24 hours before the visit.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE

MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD
- CODE OF CONDUCT CERTIFICATIONS - CONSENT T0 A CRIMINAL RECORD VERIFICATION:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF WORK
The work shall be completed within 30 weeks from the date of notification of acceptance of the offer.

The budget, for this project, is over 5 000 000 $
