    SUMMARY
    As part of the preparatory work and studies for the New Bridge
    for the St. Lawrence (NBSL) project in Montreal (Quebec),
    Transport Canada requires laboratory services, geotechnical
    studies and soil, rock and groundwater characterization services.
    
    The objective of this Request for Proposal is to obtain the
    following consulting and laboratory services:
    Boring and characterization of rock and soil, geophysical
    investigations and geotechnical studies;
    investigations of the materials in existing roadways, their
    base, sub-base materials and supporting soils;
    other laboratory tests and analyses at the request of Canada; and
    other specialized investigations and expert assessments at the
    request of Canada.
    
    
    OPTIONAL SITE VISIT
    An optional site visit will be held on Tuesday, April 30, 2013
    at 10h00 AM at the Champlain Bridge Plaza located on Nuns'
    Island. Proponents are requested to communicate with the
    Contracting Authority by email
    (francois.thellend@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca) three (3) days before the
    scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of
    the person(s) who will attend.
