    Notice to Suppliers:
    Electronic downloading of tender documents, specifications and
    drawings is free of charge on MERX.
    
    Firms intending to submit tenders on this project should obtain

    (http://www.merx.com).  Drawings and specifications are now
    available for viewing and downloading in PDF format or in hard
    copy.  Bidders should take note that attachment 1 (ATT 1)
    contains the full set of drawings and specifications, which
    consist of PDF files organized in an industry-standard directory
    structure.  Addenda, when issued, will be available from the
    MERX service provider.  Firms that elect to base their bids on
    tender documents obtained from other sources do so at their own
    risk and will be solely responsible to inform the tender calling
    authority of their intention to bid.
    
    Project Description
    Resurfacing of caissons on berths 1 and 2, at the Port of
    Baie-Comeau, Quebec, will be achieved in two phases (1 and 2)
    and includes, without being limited to, refection of slabs and
    walls on berths 1 and 2.
    
    Mandatory Criteria
    The bidder must comply with all requirements of the tender,
    including the following:
    - The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid;
    - Comply with all laws in force at the tender closing date.
    
    Period of Work
    Work will take place in two phases (1 and 2) as follows:
    - Phase 1:  Once the contract award until October 31st, 2012
    - Phase 2:  From May 1st, 2013 to July 31st, 2013.
    
    Budget
    The estimated cost for this opportunity is within the following
    cost category:  1 000 001$ - 
    5 000 000$.
