    TITLE: 
    Maintenance of boilers and related heating systems
    
    SECURITY REQUIREMENT
    This request contains a security requirement.
    
    SCOPE OF WORK : 
    This involves performing a check and maintenance of the boiler room system at the Sept-Iles airport.
    
    PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT : 
    The period of the contract is from August 1st 2019 to July 31 2020.
    
    Option to Extend the Contract : The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the 
    Contract by up to three (3) additional one-year periods under the same conditions. 
    
    TRADE AGREEMENTS: 
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).
    
    EPOST CONNECT SERVICE: 
    This bid solicitation allows bidders to use the epost Connect service provided by Canada Post Corporation to transmit 
    their bid electronically. Bidders must refer to Part 2 entitled Bidder Instructions, and Part 3 entitled Bid 
    Preparation Instructions, of the bid solicitation, for further information.
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT BID CLOSING DATE:
    - Bidders must have visited the site and attach an attendance form with their submission;
    - Bidders must hold a valid organization security clearance;
    - Bidders must have provided two confirmation letters demonstrating that they have previously performed similar 
    projects in accordance with the requirements.
    
    MANDATORY SITE VISIT
    It is mandatory that the bidder or a representative of the latter attend one of the two site visits where the work 
    will be carried out, which will be held on the following dates: 
    
    - Wednesday, June 19 2019, at 10H00 EDT
    OR
    - Thursday, June 20 2019, at 14H00 EDT
    
    Site visits will be held at :  1000, Boulevard Laure Est, Sept-Îles (Québec), G4R 4K2.
    
    Important notes :
     - Bidders are requested to send the list of participants to the visit by email at Annabelle.Cloutier@tpsgc-
    pwgsc.gc.ca no later than Tuesday, June 18 2019, at 14H00 EDT. 
    - Arrive at least 15 minutes earlier.
    - The meeting place is inside the airport, in front of the airlines counters, the first door of the east terminal.
    - Wearing a helmet and boots is mandatory.
