IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS - BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS
Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Bids must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows bidders to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

TITLE: 
Roof inspection of sloping fall protection systems, horizontal lifelines, chimney lifelines and positioning anchorage systems.

SECURITY REQUIREMENT: 
This request contains a security requirement.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION : 
The mandate requires an annual inspection and certification of the fall protection systems of three buildings. An anchor tension test is also required every five (5) years. On-demand work, related to the mandate, may be requested.

SITE VISIT : 
There will be no site visit. Before submitting bid, Contractor is responsible to visit site and get all necessary information regarding nature and scope of the contract, as well as all the conditions that may affect the execution of the contract.

MANDATORY CRITERIAS AT CLOSING DATE: 
- Bidders must hold a valid organization security clearance;
- Bidders must have provided one letter of confirmation demonstrating that they have previously performed similar project in accordance with the requirements.

MANDATORY CRITERIAS PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD : 
- Integrity provisions:

Bidders must provide with their bid or promptly thereafter a complete list of names of all individuals who are currently directors of the Bidder. If the required names have not been received by the time the evaluation of bids is completed, Canada will inform the Bidder of a time frame within which to provide the information. Failure to comply will render the bid non-responsive.

Canada may, at any time, request that a Bidder provide properly completed and Signed Consent Forms (Consent to a Criminal Record Verification form - PWGSC-TPSGC 229) for any or all individuals aforementioned within the time specified. Failure to provide such Consent Forms within the time period provided will result in the bid being declared non-responsive.

PERIOD OF THE CONTRACT: 
The period of the contract is from contract award to July 31, 2023 inclusive.

Option to Extend the Contract: The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to three (3) additional one-year periods under the same conditions.
