Trade Agreement: Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: PILES PROTECTION AND CATHODIC PROTECTION - CAP-AUX-MEULES This bid solicitation cancels and supersedes previous bid solicitation number EE519-180433/A dated 2017-07-11 with a closing of 2017-08-15 at 2:00 PM (EDT). A debriefing or feedback session will be provided upon request to bidders/offerors/suppliers who bid on the previous solicitation. PROJECT DESCRIPTION The work included in this project include the protection of the piers at the ferry wharf and the old ferry wharf at Cap-aux-Meules, Qc. More precisely, the work includes the following: -Remove cathodic protection for piles after consolidation and protection. -Remove rust and residue from piles in area to be consolidated -Consolidate piles with steel profiles, mechanical bolts and studs welded thereto. -Install permanent steel formwork and provide adjustment details in place. Install a valve in the lower part of the formwork for the placement of the concrete. -The filling of concrete inside the formwork surrounding the piles will be pumped. -Replace cathode protection with new fasteners. -Perform a new cathodic protection on the ferry dock. -Install four reference electrodes on the commercial wharf. MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE -The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid; MANDATORY CRITERIA PRIOR TO CONTRACT AWARD -The Bidder must provide the listing of subcontractors; -Integrity provisions: All bidders, regardless of their status under the Policy, must submit the following information when participating in a procurement process or real property transaction: • bidders that are corporate entities, including those bidding as joint ventures, must provide a complete list of the names of all cu rrent directors or, for a privately owned corporation, the names of the owners of the corporation; • bidders bidding as sole proprietors, including sole proprietors bidding as joint ventures, must provide a complete list of the names of al l owners; or • bidders that area partnership do not need to provide a list of names. PERIOD OF WORK The work shall be completed within 16 weeks from the date of the contract award.
