TITLE: Elevator Rehabilitation
Description of Work:
The work consists of the complete rehabilitation of a 3-story elevator and a 2-story freight elevator, located at the Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada Quebec City Research and Development Center. In general, the work includes the replacement of the following elements:
-cabins, mechanical, electrical, controls, fire protection, ventilation, signalization, communication and other equipment.
For a complete and detailed description of the work, refer to the plans and specifications.
Work will be performed in sequence, one elevator at a time. There must always be a working elevator. The work is performed in an occupied and functional building. Special requirements apply and are explained in the specifications.

SUBMISSION OF BID

Submissions must be sent by epost Connect service only.

SITE VISIT 

There will be a site visit on September 16 at 2pm. See SI03 in bid sollicicitation. 
Bidders are requested te send the list of participants of the site visit by email at jennifer.kirouac@tpsgc-pwgsc.gc.ca no later than Tuesday September 15, 2021, at 2:00 pm. 

MANDATORY CRITERION AT CLOSING DATE

The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid.

PERIOD OF WORK

The Contractor must perform and complete the Work within fifty two (52) weeks following contract award.
