    PROJECT DESCRIPTION :
    
    The work under this contract consists mainly, but not exclusively, of the Cap-Tourmente national wildlife area’s wastewater treatment system upgrade, located near the municipality of Saint-Joachin.
    
    WORK DESCRIPTION:
    
    This work includes, but is not limited to, the installation of a prefabricated concrete septic tank, the installation of a prefabricated concrete tank for a biological reactor, the replacement of two culvert, the work on two pump station and the performance testing upon reopening to the public.
    
    TRANSMISSION OF BIDS:
    
    Bidders must submit their bids electronically using the Canada Post Corporation (CPC) Connect service for the purpose of this bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids electronically to Public Services and Procurement Canada (PSPC) bid receiving units; it allows the secure electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level. Please refer to SI06 - Submission of Bid for more information.
    
    Bids in hard copy (delivered in person or by mail or courier) will not be accepted for this bid solicitation.
    
    SITE VISIT
    
    A site visit will be held at Cap Tourmente National Wildlife Area on Wednesday August 10, 2022 at 1 pm. The meeting point in the parking lot of the Petite-Ferme sector. See clause SI03.
    
    
    MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE
    
    The Bidder shall enclose bid security with its bid;
    
    
    PERIOD OF WORK
    
    The Contractor must start de work no earlier than October 31, 2022 and perform and complete the Work within forty (40) weeks from this date.
