Description of Work:
After more than two years of concentrated development effort within the Joint Intelligence Collection and Analysis Capability (JICAC) project at Defence Research and Development Canada (DRDC) Valcartier Research Centre, there is a growing need to use and operate more intensively the developed systems at hand in various laboratories, namely within DRDC Valcartier Research Centre and other DRDC collaborator sites such as Ottawa. Hence, over time, an impressive global operational environment to support this project has been put in place at DRDC Valcartier Research Centre that includes a large network-server infrastructure with various testing, staging and production sub-environments, a system-to-systems integration sub-environment, a software-system development process sub-environment, and an investigation and new technology try-out sub-environment. In order to help supporting and improving this overall global capacity, DRDC Valcartier Research Centre is seeking the services of the industry for the Concept Laboratory Operational Support Environment Duplication (CLOSED). This CLOSED environment will stand on a different network and hardware infrastructure, having no connections to the actual Research and Development (R&D) Development Environment. Within this contract, the following five work elements must be considered by the Contractor:    

1. Provide the system integration support;
2. Improve JICAC prototypes system development process;
3. Perform JICAC prototypes integration with external applications and data feeds
4. Perform installation and configuration of new hardware and virtualized environments
5. Monitor and troubleshoot deficiencies of the networks and servers

- Bidders must submit a bid for all resource categories
- The work is currently not being performed by a contracted resource
