IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Given current circumstances and network limitations, some active procurements may be delayed. To stay up to date on the status of specific procurements, please consult Buysandsell.gc.ca.

PROJECT DESCRIPTION: 
Agriculture and Agri-Food Canada’s Quebec Research and Development Centre (QRDC) requires a storage tank for liquid argon, including a leased telemetry system and liquid argon to supply its scientific equipment.

TRADE AGREEMENT 
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadien Free Trade Agreement (CFTA).

DELIVERY SCHEDULE: 
The tank shall be delivered and installed within thirty (30) calendar days of the awarding of the contract.

The Contractor shall have one (1) calendar day to install the tank and the associated equipment for it to be fully operational.

The Contractor shall ensure that there is no interruption in the supply of liquid argon to the QRDC by making regular visits to the site and/or using a telemetry system.

All inquiries and other communications concerning this Request for proposal must be sent in writing only to the contracting authority named in the Request for proposal.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.

This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in their official languages.

Bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation process. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the bid solicitation process.
