    Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 
    Offers must be submitted by fax to the number indicated in the bid solicitation or electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject Request for Standing Offers. This service allows offerors to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.
    Hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) offers will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offers.

    TITLE: Inspection, Repair and Parts Purchasing Services for General Motors Vehicles
    This request does not contain a security requirement.
    The purpose of this Request for Standing Offer is to provide general and specific requirements concerning inspection, repair and parts purchasing services for General Motors commercial vehicles for the Transportation Company of 5 Service Battalion, 2nd Canadian Division Support Base (Valcartier Base), Department of National Defence.
    The Contractor shall, on a call-up basis, supply the following services and goods for General Motors commercial vehicles:
    a) Vehicle inspection services according to a fifty-five (55) point checklist;
    b) Repairs services in the Contractor’s shops;
    c) Supply original General Motors brand parts only;
    d) Deliveries of parts to the Valcartier Support Base;
    e) Pick-up and drop-off of vehicles to the Valcartier Support Base, at the client’s request.
    One (1) standing offer will be issued for an estimated amount of $75,000.00 + applicable taxes for the two (2) firm years, for a total of $112,500.00 + applicable taxes including one (1) option year.
    Standing Offer Period: September 1, 2021 to August 31, 2023 with an optional one-year extension: September 1, 2023 to August 31, 2024.
    The requirement is subject to the provisions of the following trade agreements:  the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA), Chile, Colombia, Honduras, Korea, Panama. 
    All inquiries and other communications concerning this Request for Satnding Offers must be sent in writing only to the contracting authority named in the Request for Standing Offers.
    The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement.
    This PWGSC office provides procurement services to the public in their official languages.
    Offerers may request a debriefing on the results of the Request for Standing Offers process. Offerers should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days from receipt of the results of the Request for Standing Offers process.
