IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. OFFER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Québec Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit offers electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) offers will not be accepted for the subject Request for Standing Offers.

TITLE: Regional Individual Standing Offers for the rental of «telescopic boom» forklifts. 

DESCRIPTION:The Department of National Defence (DND) requires the services of a contractor, an as-ordered basis, for the rental of «telescopic boom» forklifts (referred to herein as 'vehicles'), without operator, including tools and materials, transportation, delivery, pickup and unloading, according with specifications described at Annex A - Requirement. 

The services are for the Commercial Vehicles Platoon of the Department of National Defence, CFB Valcartier, Quebec.

DELIVERY: The contractor will be responsible for delivering and picking up the vehicle(s).  Pickups and deliveries must be made within 24 business hours after receiving the order and within four (4) business hours for urgent orders.

ESTIMATED VALUE: A standing offer will be issued for an estimate value of $200 000.00, excluding taxes, for a two-year period.

STANDING OFFER PERIOD:The standing offer is from standing offer issuance to May 31, 2022 with the possibility of two (2) optional periods of one (1) year each.
