PROJECT DESCRIPTION The requirement is: a) To carry out the ship repair work regarding the Canadian Coast Guard Ship (CCGS) Amundsen, during the winter layout at Section 97 (Gate E-8) of the Port of Quebec. In accordance with the associated Technical Specifications detailed in the Requirement attached as Annex A. b) To carry out any approved unscheduled work not covered in paragraph a) above. PROPOSED WORK PERIOD. Significant work is already underway on the CCGV Amundsen, which will make the vessel available upon Contract award. However, this other work will also cause some restrictions on accessing the vessel during certain periods of the refit: 1) April 1st 2021 (Approximatively): Relocation of the vessel from section # 17 to section # 98 (Quai de la Reine). 2) From April 7 to 25, 2021: Sea trials. The vessel will not be accessible to the Contractor. 3) From January 12 to April 7, 2021: The engine room control room will not be accessible from Monday to Saturday, from 7H00 to 17H00. In connection with the requirements of this contract, it will be the Contractors’ responsibility to ensure that the vessel is ready to go to sea by March 31, 2021. Thus, taking into account the restrictions, the work will begin and end as follows: Start of Work: At Contract award, or as per ship’s availability.
