    Environmental investigation of the Baie-des-Chaleurs, Gaspésie,

    This requirement is open only to qualified suppliers under the
    Supply Arrangement (SA) for environmental investigation of site
    services (PWGSC file "EE517-121480/B.") 
    
    Description of requirement
    
    Transport Canada (TC) is planning to divest certain ports in
    Gaspésie over the next few years. Under the program, TC must
    identify the environmental condition of these properties.
    Therefore, TC would like to characterize the soils and sediments
    of the lots under its jurisdiction. TC mandated Public Works and
    Government Services Canada (PWGSC) to deliver the full scope of
    the work. PWGSC Environmental Services requires the services of
    a contractor to collect samples, conduct physical-chemical
    analyses and prepare reports, as described in Supply Arrangement
    (SA) EE517-121480/B and as outlined in Request for Proposal
    EE517-141477/A.
    
    The mandate involves the following four ports:
    -Chandler
    -Miguasha 
    -Paspébiac
    -Carleton
    
    Contract period
    
    The contract period is from the award date to March 31, 2015.
    The work period is from the award date to March 14, 2014.
    
    Basis of Selection:
    
    A bid must comply with all requirements of the bid solicitation
    to be declared responsive. The responsive bid with the lowest
    evaluated price will be recommended for award of a contract.
    
    Ongoing opportunity for qualification
    
    A permanent notice is posted by the Government Electronic
    Tendering Service (GETS) for the term of the supply arrangement.
    The notice describes the procurement instrument and invites
    additional suppliers to submit arrangements to become suppliers
    and be awarded a supply arrangement for provision of services.
