Breakwater Construction - Pointe-Basse, Magdalen Island

PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Breakwater Construction Work of Pointe-Basse fishing Harbour in the Magdalen Island comprises, but is not limited to:
• Partial demolition of breakwaters and the reuse ofmaterials in new works.
• Dredging of the exclusion zone in front of the slip and the use of geotextile containers with polymerization to dry dredged sediments.
• Dredging work in the new harbour section and sea disposal of dredged material at disposalsite PBCM-1.
• Disposal of demolition materials that cannot be reused in the new works.
• Supply and installation of 3.6 mt and 5.4 mt Dolosse and various stones sizes and reuse of existing stone for extension existing breakwaters.

MANDATORY CRITERIA AT CLOSING DATE

• The Bidder must enclose bid security with its bid.

PERIOD OF WORK

Work must be completed by March 31st, 2017.
