TITLE: LAND SRUVEY SYSTEM

DESCRIPTION OF THE REQUIREMENT:
Parks Canada requires the acquisition and delivery of a mobile GNSS receiver system with a controller and processing software as well as a radio set for collecting field data and high-precision survey data, for delivery to Parcs Canada, 50 Chemin du Lac-Goulet, St-Mathieu-du-Parc, QC, in accordance with the Annex A - Requirement of the request for roposal.

The new mobile receiver, field book, and radio must be able to pair with an Ashtech ProMark 800 antenna. The ProMark 800 antenna will be used to support the RTK system. The system must have all the components necessary for proper interaction between the two systems.

SPECIFICATIONS AND TECHNICAL COMPONENTS MANDATORY:
The proposed system must meet the minimum technical specifications described below, but not limited to, as well as all other requirements as identified in Annex A - Requirement of this request for proposal. In addition, the system should be fully functional and operational.

1.  MOBILE RECEIVER:
1.1 Must have an electronic tilt-compensation system.
1.2 Must have technology that can establish high-precision points for at least 5 minutes following the loss of radio contact between the base and receiver.
1.3 Must be able to capture GPS, GLONASS, SBAS, Galileo, and BeiDou signals.
1.4 Must be able to withstand shock (minimum of 2 m).
1.5 Must have IP67 enclosure protection.
1.6 Must have a battery life of at least 5 hours in receive mode.
1.7 Must have an internal memory of at least 2 GB.
1.8 Must have XYZ precision within a millimetre in RTK mode.

2. CONTROLLER AND PROCESSING SOFTWARE
2.1 Must have software for data collection and for linking with the mobile receiver. 
2.2 Must have a QWERTY keyboard.
2.3 Must have a battery life of at least 24 hours.
2.4 Must have a backlit colour touch screen.
2.5 Must have a flash memory of at least 5 GB.

3.  RADIO SET
3.1 Must have a connecting cable allowing communication between the radio and the Ashtech Promark 800 base.
3.2 Must have IP67 enclosure protection.
3.3 Must have a variable output of 2 W-35 W.

DELIVERY:
All deliverables including the on-site training must be received no later than three (3) weeks after contract award.
