NOTICE: The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). PROJECT DESCRIPTION: The Contractor must supply one (1) new inflatable workboat no more than two years old (manufacturing date) with rigid fiberglass hull. It must be a production model certified in Canada, and in accordance with the current Transport Canada Marine Safety Branch (TCMSB) Marine Safety Publication TP 1332 Construction Standards for Small Vessels. Transport Canada - Navigation protection program (TC-NPP) buys, manages and operates small vessels in support of its programs and missions. The primary purpose of this vessel will be for coastal navigation (maximum 20 nautical miles from shore) into the St. Lawrence River, the Estuary and the Gulf of St. Lawrence in support of its mandate under the Navigation Protection Act and the Canada Shipping Act of 2001 as well as for search and auxiliary rescue operations. The vessel will be based in Québec City and operated from the office of Transport Canada located at 1550 Estimauville, Quebec (QC) G1J 0C8. With the workboat, the Contractor must also supply two (2) 150 HP four-stroke outboard motors and one (1) new dual axle trailer, compatible with the boat.
