The Department of National Defence (DND) has a requirement for the establishment of a Standing Offer for Strategic Radio Communications Systems spares.

The Standing Offer will allow for the procurement of spares-accessories required to support strategic radio communications systems in use by the Canadian Forces. These strategic communication systems provide the essential command and control capabilities of operational communication systems directly involved in the defense of Canada and Canadians at home and abroad.

The period for making call-ups against the Standing Offer is from date of Standing Offer award to 5 years after.

If the Standing Offer is authorized for use beyond the initial period, the Offeror may extend its offer for an additional two one year period, under the same conditions and at the rates or prices specified in the Standing Offer.
