Trade Agreement: Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: ULTRA-SHORT BASE LINE (USBL) ACOUSTIC POSITIONING SYSTEM 5P036-120215/A Lily Anam Telephone No. - (819) 956-2324 Fax No. - (819) 956-5650 GSIN: N5845, UNDERWATER SOUND EQUIPMENT Quantity: 1 Each Delivery Date: Equipment must be received no later than 20 August 2012 BACKGROUND: The Underwater Archaeology Service (UAS) of Parks Canada has a requirement for an Ultra-Short Base Line (USBL) underwater acoustic positioning system to support its archaeological survey operations across Canada, specifically to provide high accuracy underwater tracking of divers, side-scan sonar towfish, remotely-operated vehicles (ROVs), and other survey assets including autonomous underwater vehicles (AUVs) in the course of future collaborative survey work. The system is required to provide highly accurate geo-referenced positioning for remote-sensing survey, but also to promote the health and safety of UAS dive teams by allowing surface support personnel to effectively track diver depth and location, both at depth and just below the surface. The system will be deployed from a variety of different vessel platforms, including survey vessels belonging to the UAS, as well as on other vessels of opportunity. DELIVERY: Delivered Duty Paid (DDP) Incoterms 2010 to Ontario, Canada is mandatory by 20th August 2012. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT) ane exempt from the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), and the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA). After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person. Delivery Date: 20/08/2012 The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
