    The Correctional Service of Canada (CSC) has a potential
    requirement to acquire semi-permanent fully self-contained
    modular live fire range facilities (Modular Range).
    
    The objective of this Letter of Interest (LOI) is to:
    
    -  advise industry of this potential requirement and provide
    industry with general and draft technical information;
    	
    -  provide industry with a preliminary set of high level
    specifications, deliverables, schedule, and project scope
    information;
    	
    -  enable Canada to engage industry and obtain information
    regarding modular range solutions, including indicative,
    non-binding cost information for project planning purposes; and
    
    -  allow Industry to assess and comment on the adequacy and
    clarity of the requirements as currently expressed; offer
    suggestions regarding potential alternative solutions that would
    meet requirements.
    
    Note that at this time, there is no firm requirement for
    procurement.
    
    This LOI is neither a call for tender nor a Request for Proposal
    (RFP), and no agreement or contract for the procurement of the
    equipment stated above will be entered into solely as a result
    of this LOI.
    
    There will be no short-listing of vendors for the purposes of
    undertaking any future work, as a result of this LOI. Similarly,
    participation in this LOI is not a condition or
    prerequisite for the participation to any RFP.

    Five (3) hard copies and three (3) soft copies of the
    information packages are requested.
