    SATELLITE-ON-THE-MOVE (SOTM)
    INDUSTRY DAY, 1st JUNE 2012
    
    
    BACKGROUND
    
    The Land Command Support System Life Extension (LCSS LE) Project
    is responsible for the delivery of a Satellite-On-The-Move
    (SOTM) system, to integrate elements of it into selected combat
    platforms, and integrate the system into the Land Command
    Support System (LCSS).  This procurement is for the delivery of
    the SOTM system and not for the integration into platforms or
    into the LCSS. 
    
    AIM
    
    To provide an update on the projected Request for Proposal (RFP)
    for the LCSS LE SOTM system and to provide a forum for Industry
    to pose questions to the project team.  
    
    LOCATION
    
    The Industry Day will be held at the Louis St Laurent Building,
    555 Boulevard de la Carrière, Gatineau, Quebec, K1A 0K2. 
    
    DATE
    
    The Industry Day will be held on Friday, 1st June 2012 between
    1300 and 1600.  Industry representatives are requested to report
    to the front entrance of the Louis St Laurent Building between
    1215 and 1245. 
    
    FORMAT
    
    The Project Team will provide an overview of the procurement
    followed by an opportunity for Industry to ask questions.  The
    projected schedule is:
    
    1215 - 1245	Industry representatives arrive, book in and are
    escorted to the Briefing Room.
    1300 - 1430	Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC),
    LCSS LE, and Industry Canada (IC) provide the project briefing
    (to include explanation of Industrial and Regional Benefits
    (IRB) requirements).
    1430 - 1445	Health Break.
    1445 - 1545	Questions.
    1545 - 1600	Close.  Industry representatives are escorted to the
    Main Entrance.	
    
    
    
    ATTENDANCE
    
    Potential bidders for the LCSS LE SOTM capability are invited to
    send no more than two representatives to the event.  Names of
    personnel attending must be sent in advance together with Non
    Disclosure Agreements (NDAs) and Controlled Goods Programme
    (CGP) certification.  The Point of Contact (POC) is Mr Tim
    Blanchard using the project team's group mail box:
    (LCSSLE-PVSACT@forces.gc.ca).  Names of attendees, together with
    the NDAs and evidence of CGP certification must be received at
    the LCSS LE group mailbox by Monday 28th May 2012.

    Outline information about this procurement is available on the

    Requirements Document have been made available to Industry
    through this website.  Participants at the Industry Day are
