    Integrated Soldier System Project (ISSP)

    Project Description:
The Integrated Soldier System Project (ISSP), a capital
acquisition project, will acquire equipment aimed at
significantly enhancing Canadian dismounted soldier capabilities
in the five NATO capability areas of C4I (Command, Control,
    Communications, Computers and Intelligence), Lethality,
Mobility, Survivability, and Sustainability during the 2012-2018
timeframe. The project will provide the soldier with an
integrated suite of equipment that includes electronic devices,
sensors and individual equipment. This soldier system will
significantly increase soldier performance, as soldiers will
seamlessly share data and voice communications through a
network. This capability will facilitate effective and timely
interaction. As a result, soldiers will have more comprehensive
situational awareness, real-time tactical information and
    greater synchronization of activity.
    Delivery Date: Above-mentioned

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
    procurement.

Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
