REQUEST FOR STANDING OFFER

FRESH FRUIT AND VEGETABLES
BOWDEN, DRUMHELLER and GRANDE CACHE INSTITUTIONS

This Regional Individual Standing Offer (RISO) is for the supply
of Misc. Groceries, Frozen Products including Fruits and
Vegetables, Cheese and Dairy, and Concentrated Coffee products
with dispensers  as required by Correctional Service of Canada,
Bowden and Drumheller, Alberta.  All products required must be
alcohol free.  No glass containers will be accepted.  

The items and quantities required are listed in Annex B, Working
Documents - List of Products.

Note:  Bidders are required to submit offers on a minimum of ONE
(1) of the Product Lists: A) Miscellaneous Grocery and/or B)
Frozen Food Products and/or C) Cheese and Dairy and/or D)
Concentrated Coffee products with dispensers , but are not
required to submit bids for all four (4) Product Lists.  Bidders
must provide pricing for a minimum of 95 percent of the items
listed in each Product List(s) for which they submit an offer.

Up to four (4) Standing Offers may be awarded, but only one (1)
Standing Offer will be awarded per Product List per period.

Period of Standing Offer:

Date of standing offer award to 31 August 2014, divided into 2
(two)  six-month periods.

Solicitation Closing Dates:

Offers must be submitted for each refresh period, as per the
following schedule:
Rebid Period #01 - 15 August 2013
Rebid Period #02 - 15 February 2014

Debriefings:

After contract award, bidders may request a debriefing on the
results of the bid solicitation. Bidders should make the request
to the Contracting Authority within 15 working days of receipt
of notification that their bid was unsuccessful. The debriefing
may be provided in writing, by telephone or in person

procurement.
