Telephone No. - (306) 241-1152 ( ) Fax No. - (306) 975-5397 On 14 October 2014, Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) published a Letter of Interest (LOI) on the Government Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) seeking to engage with Industry on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND) Suffield, acting as AGENT for the British Army Training Unit Suffied (BATUS). As part of that engagement, Participants were asked to provide a written response to questions related to both the technical aspects of the Work to be undertaken and the procurement strategy. The purpose of the Industry Engagement was to: a) initiate discussions with industry on the requirement for a new contract; b) share plans with industry, solicit input and engage in dialogue regarding the requirements of BATC Canada; c) understand what Contractors have to offer and leverage their expertise to develop a procurement strategy that achieves the project's objectives; and d) elicit feedback from industry to questions posed. Participants were encouraged to ask questions, provide comments and to request a one-on-one session, with the objective to receive feedback that may be incorporated into the solicitation document, creating a procurement that is fair and transparent to suppliers, enhances competition, and results in best value to Canada. Attached are the minutes of the one-one-one sessions that were conducted on 17 March 2015. The publication of this document effectively concludes the Industry Engagement process. The information gathered through this process will be considered when finalizing the procurement strategy and should meet the needs of the Government of Canada and be compatible with Industry standard practices. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
