    On 14 October 2014, Public Works and Government Services Canada
    (PWGSC) published a Letter of Interest (LOI) on the Government
    Electronic Tendering Service (GETS) seeking to engage with
    Industry on behalf of the Department of National Defence (DND)
    Suffield, acting as AGENT for the British Army Training Unit
    Suffied (BATUS). As part of that engagement, Participants were
    asked to provide a written response to questions related to both
    the technical aspects of the Work to be undertaken and the
    procurement strategy.

    The purpose of the Industry Engagement was to:

    a)	initiate discussions with industry on the requirement for a
    new contract;
    b)	share plans with industry, solicit input and engage in
    dialogue regarding the requirements of 		BATC Canada;
    c)	understand what Contractors have to offer and leverage their
    expertise to develop a procurement strategy that achieves
    the project's objectives; and
    d)	elicit feedback from industry to questions posed.

    Participants were encouraged to ask questions, provide comments
    and to request a one-on-one session, with the objective to
    receive feedback that may be incorporated into the solicitation
    document, creating a procurement that is fair and transparent to
    suppliers, enhances competition, and results in best value to
    Canada.

    Attached are the minutes of the one-one-one sessions that were
    conducted on 17 March 2015.

    The publication of this document effectively concludes the
    Industry Engagement process. The information gathered through
    this process will be considered when finalizing the procurement
    strategy and should meet the needs of the Government of Canada
    and be compatible with Industry standard practices.
