Telephone No. - (306) 241-1152 ( ) Fax No. - (306) 975-5397 EXTENSION OF TIME Notice is hereby given that the date and time for the reception of bids previously due October 9, 2015 is extended to 14:00 CST, October 30, 2015. ***************************************************************** ********************* EXTENSION OF TIME Notice is hereby given that the date and time for the reception of bids previously due September 30, 3015 is extended to 14:00 CST, October 9, 2015. ***************************************************************** ********************* For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT for the British Army Training Unit Suffield. The British Armed Forces Training Unit (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, in accordance with the solicitation documents, has a requirement for the provision of an Adventurous Training Centre to support the BATUS personnel in order to conduct year round Adventurous Training (AT) and Challenge Pursuit Activities (CPA) within Western Canada. This support is to include accommodation, facility operation and maintenance, housekeeping and janitorial services, catering facility and support systems and site services which must comply with current policies of the Department of National Defence (DND) and UK Ministry of Defence (MOD). The period of the Contract is from 01 April 2016 to 31 March 2022, inclusive. The contract award is anticipated for April 2016 to allow sufficient time for the successful bidder to prepare for services to commence 01 April 2017. The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contract by up to two additional five year option period(s) under the same conditions as follows: 01 April 2022 to 31 March 2027 and 01 April 2027 to 31 March 2032. At the time option period 1 and option period 2 are each exercised, the Contractor's Firm Nightly Rates, Fixed Monthly Administration fee and Firm Unit Rates for Laundry and Repair will be adjusted annually upon notification from the Contractor prior to the anniversary date of the contract. The rates in the Basis of Payment will be determined by using the rates in effect on the Contract at that date adjusted by the annual percentage change of Indexes Table 3, the Consumer Price Index (CPI) of Alberta, (Not Seasonally Adjusted), published in Statistics Canada Catalogue no. 62-001-X. for the 12 month period ending three months before the expiration date of the current contract period. Bidders' Conference A bidders' conference will be held at the Harry Hays Building in Calgary, Alberta on 02 September 2015. The conference will begin at 13:00 MDT, in the Carstairs conference room. The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during the conference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative. Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than 14:00 CST on 27 August 2015.
