    Bidders' Conference
    A bidders' conference will be held at CFB Suffield, Ralston, Alberta on 27 October 2016.  The conference will begin at 13:00 MT, at CFB Suffield, Range Control Conference Room, located on the East side of camp (Building 604). The scope of the requirement outlined in the bid solicitation will be reviewed during theconference and questions will be answered. It is recommended that bidders who intend to submit a bid attend or send a representative.
    
    Bidders are requested to communicate with the Contracting Authority before the conference to confirm attendance. Bidders should provide, in writing, to the Contracting Authority, the name(s) of the person(s) who will be attending and a list of issues they wish to table no later than 14:00 CST on 24 October 2016.
    
    Mandatory Site Visit
    It is mandatory that the Bidderor a representative of the Bidder visit the work site.  Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, Ralston, Alberta on 27 October 2016.  The site visit will begin at 10:00 MT, start from at CFB Suffield, Range Control Conference Room, located on the East side of camp (Building 604). In addition, Bidders will require a vehicle with 4 wheel drive capability in order to access all sites on the tour.
    
    Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authoritynolater than 14:00 CST on 24 October 2016 to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend.  Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet.  Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive.

    For the purposes of this procurement, Canada is acting as AGENT for the British ArmyTraining Unit Suffield.
    
    The British Armed Forces Training Unit (BATUS) at Canadian Forces Base Suffield, in accordance with the solicitation documents, has a requirement for the provision of portable sanitation services including chemical toilets,hand wash stations and grey water containment in support to various military units conducting training at Canadian Forces Base Suffield.  This includes all transportation of units, expertise, labour and materials required in support of Department of National Defence and BATUS, Ralston, Alberta on a fixed and as and when required basis.
    
    The period of the Contract is from 01 April 2017 to 31 March 2018, inclusive.
    
    The Contractor grants to Canada the irrevocable option to extend the term of the Contractby up to two additional option period(s) under the same conditions as follows; 01 April 2018 to 31 March 2019 and 01 April 2019 to 31 March 2020.
    
    The training season is normally from 15 April to 01 November of each contract year.
