The Department of National Defence (DND), including the British
Army Training Unit (BATUS), at Canadian Forces Base Suffield,
Ralston, AB, has a requirement for a Regional Individual
Standing Offer for the provision of the rental and
delivery/pickup of Highway Tractors and Straight Trucks on an
"as and when required" basis. This requirement is detailed in
the Requirement at Annex A. 

It is anticipated that there will be TWO (2) standing offers
issued each one for a period of one year with two additional one
year option periods. 

The historical usage has been $25,000.00 (this is an estimate
only)

There is a security requirement associated with this
requirement. For additional information, consult Part 6 -

Offer. For more information on personnel and organization
security screening or security clauses, offerors should refer to
the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Industrial

Offerors must submit a list of names, or other related
information as needed, pursuant to section 01 of Standard
Instructions 2006.
 
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), and
the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
