Parks Canada has a requirement for the supply and delivery of
Coarse Road Salt (sodium chloride as NaCl) in bulk to various
delivery locations in Banff National Park, Yoho National Park,
Kootenay National Park and Mount Revelstoke/ Glacier National
Parks and Medium Road Salt (sodium chloride as NaCl) in bulk to
the Parks Canada Salt Shed in Banff National Park, as requested
during the period of the Standing Offer.
The Standing Offer will be in effect from date of issuance to
August 31, 2016, with one (1), one (1) year option year from
September 1, 2016 to August 31, 2017. Road salt must be in
accordance with Government Spec. CAN/CGSB15.9-92 dated November
1992
The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade
Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the
North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), and the Agreement
on Internal Trade (AIT).
There are no security requirements associated with this
requirement.
