Parks Canada’s Highway Operations Unit is responsible for winter maintenance on over 700 kms of Highways and roadways within the mountain national parks. The Highway Operations Unit requires the supply and delivery of plow blade edges and hardware to various locations in Alberta and British Columbia.

This procurement has been set aside under the Federal Government’s Procurement Strategy for Aboriginal Business (PSAB). In order to be considered, a supplier must certify that it qualifies as an Aboriginal Business as defined under PSAB and that it will comply with all requirements of PSAB.

Due to the impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic and to encourage physical distancing, the bid receiving unit in Winnipeg will remain open but with limited staff and limited hours: Monday to Friday, 9 am to 11 am (local time).
