BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. To stay up to date on the status of specific procurements, please consult Buysandsell.gc.ca. ********************************************************* Requirement: Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden has a requirement to purchase Temperate Combat Boots and Waterproof Combat Boots. The period of the Standing Offer will be until June 30, 2022 with option period 1 from July 1, 2022 to June 30, 2023 and option period 2 from July 1, 2023 to June 30, 2024. In accordance with the Policy on Green Procurement and the Government of Canada actions on plastic waste in federal operations, the Government of Canada strives to ensure that the goods themselves, and the way they are procured advance the protection of the environment by integrating durability and ease of repair or maintenance specifications. Material related to this requirement must require an improved design for ease of maintenance or repair in accordance with the definitions set forth in Appendix A. In accordance with the Policy on Green Procurement and the Government of Canada actions on plastic waste in federal operations, the Government of Canada is committed to promote the procurement of sustainable plastic products and the reduction of associated plastic packaging waste to protect the environment by integrating sustainable packaging specifications. All packaging material related to this requirement must be reusable, recyclable or compostable in accordance with the definitions set forth in Appendix A and as determined using the Packaging Material Diversion Identification Form in Appendix B. Excluded material can also be found in Appendix A. It is the intention of the Crown to issue one (1) Standing Offer. Offerors may request a debriefing on the results of the request for standing offers process. Offerors should make the request to the Standing Offer Authority within 15 working days of receipt of the results of the request for standing offers process.
