IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

The Department of National Defence (DND) requires a Standing Offer to provide Tractor Trailer Training services on an as and when required basis to Canadian Air Force members. Tractor Trailer Training will be at the bidder’s facility which must be within a 50 Km radius of a major Canadian Forces Base (CFB): CFB Ottawa Ontario, CFB Toronto Ontario, CFB Kingston ON, CFB Trenton ON, CFB Borden ON, CFB Valcartier QC, CFB Edmonton AB and CFB Gagetown NB according to Google Maps.

The period of the Standing Offer will be from the date of Standing Offer issuance, for 1 year, inclusive, with the option to extend for two (2) additional period of one (1) year.

Offerors must propose a minimum of two (2) resources (individuals) who are certified AZ or provincial equivalent, depending on province to instruct on TT, provide the firm price of the firm year and the price of each extended option, and must clearly demonstrate compliance with the Mandatory Technical Evaluation Criteria.
