Important Notice: Please be advised that the Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC) Mississauga office is moving to 4900 Yonge Street, Toronto, on April 23, 2019. Please refer to Section 2.2, Submission of Bids for ALL bid submission details. The Department of National Defence’s (DND) Real Properties Operations Detachment Borden (RP OPS Det. Borden) is responsible for all of the maintenance, inspection, repair and replacement of all Air Compressors and Air Dryers at CFB Borden, Ontario. In the performance of this responsibility, there exists a requirement for a maintenance and repair program, specifically, a qualified company to execute all Task Authorizations (TA) on a Service Contract (SC) in support of Units within CFB Borden, Borden, ON. The period of the Contract is from contract award to one year later with four option periods to extend for an additional year each. This requirement is for the Department of National Defence, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Borden in Borden, Ontario. The requirement is subject to the provisions of the World Trade Organization Agreement on Government Procurement (WTO-AGP), the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA), the Canada-European Union Comprehensive Economic and Trade Agreement (CETA), and the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA). It is mandatory that the Bidder or a representative of the Bidder visit the work site. Arrangements have been made for the site visit to be held at 16 Ramilies Road, Borden ON on May 23, 2019. The site visit will begin at 10:00 AM EDT, in Building P-154. Bidders must communicate with the Contracting Authority before the scheduled visit to confirm attendance and provide the name(s) of the person(s) who will attend. Bidders will be required to sign an attendance sheet. Bidders should confirm in their bid that they have attended the site visit. Bidders who do not attend the mandatory site visit or do not send a representative will not be given an alternative appointment and their bid will be declared non-responsive. Any clarifications or changes to the bid solicitation resulting from the site visit will be included as an amendment to the bid solicitation.
