The Cloud Physics and Severe Weather Research Section of the Department of Environment Canada (EC) has a requirement for the supply and delivery for a Doppler SODAR radar. The instrument will be based at either EC King Radar Station in King City, Ontario or Toronto Pearson International Airport (depending on approval). The delivery of the Doppler SODAR is requested for 12 weeks after contract award, but must be delivered no later than 31 March, 2013. Bids will be evaluated on both mandatory and point rated basis. Primary Delivery Address: Environment Canada King Radar Station - Cloud Physics & Severe Weather Research Section Meteorological Research Division - Science and Technology Branch 14780 Jane St., King City, Ontario. L7B 1A3 Alternative Delivery Address: In the event that Environment Canada completes the paperwork involved for permission to delivery and install the Acoustic Doppler SODAR prior to delivery the Contractor, upon request from Environment Canada, must provide delivery to the following location: - Toronto Pearson International Airport Please refer to the Request for Proposal document for complete details regarding this requirement, including the mandatory evaluation criteria, and basis of selection. The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
