The Aviation Research Group (ARG) of the Environment Canada
(EC), Cloud Physics and Severe Weather Research Division, King
City, Ontario requires the supply of one (1) Transmissometer 
that can measure, light extinction, visibility , runway visual
range (RVR), and background light to be installed at the Center
for Atmospheric Research Experiments (CARE) site, Egbert,
Ontario for testing  and calibration of our existing present
weather sensors.  This will support the on going efforts by the
group to develop better algorithms for forecasting the critical
weather elements for aviation forecast such as visibility,  RVR
and precipitation type.

It is the intent to issue one standing offer as a result of this
solicitation.

All deliverables, including the Final Report, must be completed
by March 31, 2014.

A bid must comply with the requirements of the bid solicitation
and meet all mandatory requirements to be declared responsive.

The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be
recommended for contract award.

of selection.
