Bus Rentals

The Department of National Defence (DND) - region of Southwest Ontario requires the provision of Highway Cruisers, Activity Buses and School Buses with drivers on an “as and when requested” basis.  The buses are required to transport military personnel from various pick-up locations throughout Southwestern Ontario. 
 
The period of the Standing Offer will be for 1 year, estimated from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, with a right to request 2, 1-year extensions under the same terms andconditions. 

Types of Buses: 
Highway Cruisers - 47 and 56 passenger;
Activity Bus - 35 passenger, and  
School Bus - 22, 40 and 48 passenger.

There are 59 Areas of Service detailed at Annex C.  Offerors may bid on one or more Areas of Service for which they have Pick-up Rights.  

Offerors may bid on one or more bus type i.e. Highway Cruisers, Activity Bus and/or School Buses with drivers.

It is therefore anticipated that multiple Standing Offers may be awarded.

The estimated expenditure for all locations is $350,000.00 per year, proportionally based on overall annual estimated usages.  

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Agreement on Internal Trade (AIT).

This procurement is limited to Canadian services.
