Fisheries and Oceans Canada’s Asian Carp Program requires one (1) Flow Cytometer to support ongoing Asian Carp early detection surveillance sampling in the Great Lakes basin. The unit is to be used as an important information gathering tool to inform and manage actions following the capture of a Grass or Black Carp and determining whether the captured specimen is sterile or fertile.  It is essential that the Asian Carp program be able to quickly and accurately determine the fertility of captured/seized individuals through the use of flow cytometry. 

The supply, delivery and installation must be completed on or before March 30, 2018.
