NPP Amendment No. 001 is being issued to extend the bid closing date to Wednesday, July 8, 2020 and to provide further guidance regarding bid submission. 

***IMPORTANT NOTICE TO SUPPLIERS RE. BID SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS***

Due to the impacts from the COVID-19 pandemic, temporary measures are being taken on-site at the Ontario Region Bid Receiving Unit to encourage social distancing. The health and safety of staff and suppliers remains our top priority. 

Suppliers are required to submit bids electronically using the Canada Post epost Connect application for the subject bid solicitation. This service allows suppliers to submit bids, offers and arrangements electronically to PWGSC Bid Receiving Units. This online service enables the electronic transfer of large files up to Protected B level.

Faxed and hard copy (submitted in person or via mail/courier) bids will not be accepted for the subject bid solicitation.

Department of National Defence (DND), Canadian Armed Forces (CAF) requires Journal Printing Services to publish the Canadian Military Journal in both official languages (English and French) on a quarterly basis. The journal printing services are required on an as-and-when-requested basis up to a maximum of four issues per year. 

The Task Authorization contract will be for a period of 1 year from August 1, 2020 to July 31, 2021. There will be an option to extend the contract for two (2) additional one (1) year periods. 

It is intended to issue one contract as a result of this solicitation.
The responsive bid with the lowest evaluated price will be recommended for contract. 

There is a minimum work guarantee of 10% stipulated in the contract.
 
There are no security provisions associated to this requirement.

The requirement is subject to the provisions of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement (CFTA) and is conditionally limited to Canadian goods and/or services.
