The Department of National Defence, has a requirement for
Welding Machine Units that are capable of performing Shielded
Metal Arc Welding (SMAW), Gas Metal Arc Welding (GMAW), Gas
Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW), and Flux Core Arc Welding (FCAW),
in accordance with Annex A - Requirement, to be supplied on an
"as and when requested" basis, during a five (5) year period
from date of award, to be delivered and setup at the Royal
Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineers School on the
Canadian Forces Base Borden.

Only one (1) standing offer will be issued as a result of the
RFSO.

It is anticipated that a total of 35 units will be required over
the five year period.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
