Nature of Requirements: 
Tent Rentals, Canadian Forces Base (CFB) Petawawa, Petawawa,
Ontario.

The Department of National Defence (DND) 32 Canadian Brigade
Group (32 CBG) is tasked to train alongside elements of the
United States Army National Guard, 2/112th 56th Stryker Brigade
from Pennsylvania, USA.  There will be a scheduled exercise to
train in CFB Petawawa, ON.  The CBG requires the rental of five
(5) commercial grade tents (40 feet x 120 feet) to house
approximately 500 soldiers from the duration of the exercise.

PERIOD OF CONTRACT

The Contract is to be awarded for the period of 8 August 2012 to
26 August 2012.

BASIS OF SELECTION

- Must have CAN/ULC-S109-M rating (fire rating) and able to
withstand normal rain and wind;

- Each tent must cover an area of 40 feet by 120 feet;

- Tents must be free standing structures with no interior
support poles.  

- Tent colour must be Army green or white;

- Tents must have side walls that can be rolled up;

- Bidder must certify in writing that they are able to meet the
required delivery date of 8 August 2012
