Trade Agreement: WTO-AGP/NAFTA/AIT/Canada FTAs with Peru/Colombia/Panama Tendering Procedures: All interested suppliers may submit a bid Attachment: None Competitive Procurement Strategy: Lowest/Lower Bid Comprehensive Land Claim Agreement: No Nature of Requirements: Buoy K3D33-151231/A Environment Canada, Meteorological Service of Canada's Marine Network has a requirement for the supply and delivery of drifter buoys. The following buoys are part of the Canada's contribution to the Joint Commission on Marine Meteorology (JCOMM) Data Buoy Cooperation Panels (DBCP) goal of maintaining an array of 1250 surface drifting buoy operating in the world's Oceans. Delivery areas may include: 1) East Coast (Atlantic Region); 2) Edmonton (Central Region); 3) West Coast (Pacific Region); 4) United States This requirement is for the firm purchase of the following: (1) SVP/B/Iridium - Surface Velocity Program Langrangian Barometer Pressure Drifter Buoys c/w Tether and Holey Sock Drogue. Quantity (Qty.) - 5 each; (2) Polar Iridium ISVP Buoys (Non air Deployable) Qty. 4 each; (3) Polar Iridium ISVP Buoys (Air Deployable) Qty. 3 each; and (4) Compact Air-Launch Ice Beacon (CALIB) Qty. 3 each. See Annex A, Specifications of the Request for Proposal for complete details of the Buoys. There is an option to purchase additional quantities for delivery by 31 March 2016 and as well, additional options to purchase additional quantities over the next 3 years. Please refer to the Request for Proposal document for the complete details regarding this requirement including the mandatory criteria, evaluation criteria and basis of selection. Delivery Date: Above-mentioned The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any procurement. Documents may be submitted in either official language of Canada.
