Diesel Engine Trainers (DET)

Requirement
To procure five (5) Diesel Engine Trainers (DET) in support of
the Royal Canadian Electrical and Mechanical Engineering (RCEME)
School training.
Background
The Department of National Defence, Royal Canadian Electrical
and Mechanical Engineering (RCEME) School training, presently
utilizes various diesel engine trainers to deliver engine and
powertrain maintenance and engine management training for
Vehicle Technicians. These simulators are used by instructional
staff to demonstrate maintenance procedures and to instruct the
construction and operation of diesel engines and its components.
Students use the diesel engine trainers to perform maintenance
tasks including repair, testing, diagnosing and troubleshooting
of its mechanical, electrical and fuel systems.
Deliverables
Delivery is requested by 31 March 2016.

The Crown retains the right to negotiate with suppliers on any
procurement.
